SICK Encoder DFS60B-S4.
The SICK DFS60 incremental encoder is designed for complete compatibility, fuss free selection and a quick solution for all your ongoing incremental rotary encoder requirements.
Programmable from 1 up to 10,000 PPR (pulses per revolution), the supply voltage can be 4.5 to 32V DC (TTL or HTL programmable), the electrical marker pulse (Z) can be configured to 90°, 180° and 270° in relation to a single pulse period or 1° to 359° to one full mechanical turn of the encoder.
Standard A, B and Z channels with complimentary signals (-A, -B and -Z) are supplied as standard. An impressive operating temperature of -40°C to +100°C can be realised provided the connecting cables are stationary, otherwise -30°C to +100°C is achieved as standard.
Within this section we show the clamping flange version. The 60mm diameter housing is constructed of die cast light aluminium, the 10mm diameter shaft of stainless steel. The encoder can be easily programmed using a PC based or a handheld programming tool (see related products section), or we can program the encoder for you upon request.
Connections are via an M23 radial connector, choose the mating cable below, we offer 3, 5 and 10 meter cables as standard, other lengths are available upon request. Please click here for further technical information and dimensional drawings.
